I received a BA in fine arts at the U of A in the 1970’s where I studied ceramics with Don Curtis and was bitten by the “clay bug.” Once bitten ceramics was in my blood and I’m just not happy unless I’m working in clay. After a 16 year break to work in public schools I was thrilled to find I could still center, throw, and remember mostly everything Don taught me. Now, happily back working in clay I use porcelain and white stoneware doing functional tableware and porcelain leaves that I use for focal pieces for necklaces. Clay on!
